Traditional and precision sand casting for complex metal parts. Low tooling cost, large size range, wide alloy selection.
Sand casting is the most versatile metal casting process, capable of producing parts from a few hundred grams to several hundred kilograms in almost any metal alloy. A sand mold is packed around a pattern, the pattern is removed, and molten metal is poured in.
It is the process of choice for large parts, small-to-medium batches, and geometries that would be uneconomical in permanent molds. We offer both green sand and resin sand (no-bake) casting for improved surface quality.
Produce very large castings that die casting or investment casting cannot accommodate.
Sand patterns cost a fraction of permanent mold tooling — suitable for smaller batches.
Cast iron, carbon steel, stainless, aluminium, bronze — virtually any pourable alloy.
